To participate in the Contest, you must fill out the following application form and accept the Terms and Conditions.
PUNCTION
- Each contestant in the “EURO24 DRIVING MASTER” Contest starts the truck driving simulation with a pool of 1000 points. During the contest, there is no possibility to gain additional points—points can only be deducted for various types of mistakes.
- Participants have a maximum of 10 minutes to complete the designated route. If a participant exceeds this time, their attempt is automatically terminated, and their final score is set to 0.
- The timer starts the moment the participant moves from the parking lot onto the road. For every second that exceeds the 6-minute time limit to complete the route, the participant loses 1 point.
- The maximum time allotted for attaching the trailer is 3 minutes. If a participant exceeds this time, they will not continue the game with the trailer attached and will automatically have 60 points deducted from their driving test score.
- For damaging the vehicle or failing to yield to other road users, 40 points will be deducted from the participant’s score.
- Running a red light or exceeding the speed limit are errors penalized by deducting 30 points.
- For each time a participant rides over a curb, 20 points will be deducted from their score.
- Results will be recorded by the simulator system (software) automatically, which ensures objectivity in scoring and eliminates the risk of human error.
- The winner of the Contest is the person who, at the end of their attempt, has the highest number of points, meaning they made the fewest mistakes and best handled the assigned tasks.
SUMMARY REGULATIONS
- Purpose of the Competition: Participants will compete in a truck driving simulation, evaluated based on their driving skills in a virtual environment.
- Duration of the Competition: The Competition will take place from November 21 to November 22, 2024, during the MotoSolutions event at the DoubleTree by Hilton Krakow Hotel & Convention Center. The competition will be held exclusively at the Euro24 booth during event hours.
- Scoring: Each participant begins the competition with a pool of 1000 points. Points are deducted for errors made during the driving simulation. Details regarding the scoring system are available in the full competition rules.
- Registration: To participate in the competition, participants must register via a link provided by the organizer at the Euro24 booth using a QR code. Participants must provide their contact details and select a unique nickname, which will be displayed on the leaderboard.
- Conditions of Participation: The competition is open to all adult event attendees who accept the competition rules and complete the registration form. Participation is voluntary and free of charge.
- Prizes: The grand prize is a unique, hand-painted and customized Euro24 truck model. Consolation prizes will be awarded to participants who place 2nd and 3rd. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash equivalents.
- Announcement of Results: The competition results will be announced at the Organizer’s booth on November 22, 2024, at 3:30 PM. All participants will also be notified of the results by email by November 26, 2024, with emails sent to the addresses provided during registration.
