Terms and conditions of the ” Euro24 Driving Master” Contest

§1 General Provisions

  1. These regulations, hereinafter referred to as the “Regulations,” define the rules of the “Euro24 Driving Master” contest (hereinafter referred to as the “Contest”).
  2. The Contest is organized within the framework of the XIII MotoSolutions Forum, which will take place at the DoubleTree by Hilton Krakow Hotel & Convention Center in Krakow on November 21-22, 2024.
  3. The Contest is organized by EURO24 Sp. z o.o. Sp. k., headquartered at Żołnierzy 9 Dywizji Piechoty 8, 35-083 Rzeszów, NIP: 5170356307, hereinafter referred to as the “Organizer.”
  4. The Contest period covers November 21-22, 2024, exclusively at the Euro24 booth during the event hours.
  5. The purpose of the Contest is to promote the Euro24 brand and engage event participants in interactions at the brand’s booth.
  6. The Regulations will be available throughout the Contest at the Organizer’s booth in printed form and electronically via a QR code displayed at the booth.
  7. Participation in the Contest is voluntary and free of charge, subject to compliance with the requirements specified in §3 of these Regulations.
  8. The Contest is not a game of chance, promotional lottery, or mutual bet as defined by the Gambling Act of November 19, 2009.
  9. Participation requires acceptance of the Regulations, completing a registration form available via the QR code, and providing contact information necessary for identification and prize delivery.
  10. The Organizer reserves the right to amend the Regulations for valid reasons, with the obligation to inform participants promptly in a manner consistent with how the Regulations are published.

§2 Prizes in the Competition

  1. The grand prize of the Contest is a unique, hand-painted, and wrapped model of a Euro24 truck, referred to as the “Grand Prize.” Participants who place 2nd and 3rd will receive consolation prizes in the form of gift sets from Euro24.
  2. Contest participants will use nicknames (“NickName”) chosen during registration. To protect privacy, only the nicknames of the winners will be disclosed.
  3. Receiving prizes is conditional upon compliance with the Contest rules and achieving the best results in the competition.
  4. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash equivalents.
  5. Contest results will be announced at the Organizer’s booth on November 22, 2024, at 3:30 PM. Participants not present during the announcement will be informed via email by November 26, 2024, at the latest.
  6. If a winner does not claim their prize or respond to the Organizer’s message within 30 days of the announcement, the rights to the prize will expire. The Organizer will make every effort to contact the winner to facilitate prize collection.
  7. If a prize is to be sent, the Organizer commits to dispatching it within 14 business days of receiving the recipient’s address. The Organizer covers all shipping costs.

§3 Participation in the Competition

  1. Participation in the “Euro24 Driving Master” Contest is open to all adult participants of the MotoSolutions Forum who accept these Regulations.
  2. To participate, entrants must complete the registration form available at the Organizer’s booth or via the QR code, provide contact details, and select a unique nickname (“NickName”) under which they will compete.
  3. The Contest involves a simulation of driving a Euro24 truck. Participants will be evaluated based on their driving skills in a virtual environment.
  4. Each participant is entitled to one competition attempt, initiated upon accepting the Regulations and completing the registration form.
  5. The Organizer provides the necessary equipment and software for the competition attempts at the booth during the MotoSolutions Forum.
  6. Participant results will be recorded by the competition system. Evaluations are based on travel time, maneuvering accuracy, and errors made.
  7. Final results of the Contest will be compiled by a contest committee appointed by the Organizer. The committee will assess all participants’ results and determine the winners.
  8. The Organizer reserves the right to verify the identity of participants before awarding prizes to ensure compliance with the registration data.
  9. Participants are obliged to adhere to fair play principles. Violations may result in disqualification.

§4 Scoring

  1. Each participant in the “”Euro24 Driving Master” Contest starts the truck driving simulation with a score of 1000 points. During the contest, no additional points can be earned; points can only be deducted for various types of errors.
  2. Participants have a maximum of 10 minutes to complete the designated route. If a participant exceeds this time limit, their attempt is automatically ended, and their final score is set to 0.
  3. The timer starts when the participant drives out from the parking area onto the road. For each second exceeding the 6-minute limit to complete the route, 1 point will be deducted.
  4. The maximum time allocated to attach the trailer is 3 minutes. If a participant exceeds this time, they will not proceed with the game using the attached trailer, and 60 points will be automatically deducted from their driving test score.
  5. Damage to the vehicle or failure to yield the right of way to other road users will result in a deduction of 40 points from the participant’s score.
  6. Running a red light or exceeding the speed limit are errors penalized with a deduction of 30 points.
  7. For each instance of hitting a curb, 20 points will be deducted from the participant’s score.
  8. The results will be automatically recorded by the simulator system (software), ensuring objectivity in evaluation and eliminating the risk of human errors.
  9. The winner of the Contest is the participant who, after completing their attempt, has the highest number of points, meaning they committed the fewest errors and performed the assigned tasks most effectively.

§5 Restrictions on Participation in the Competition

  1. Participation in the “Euro24 Driving Master” Contest is restricted to adults only. For the purposes of this Contest, adults are defined as individuals who are 18 years of age or older on the day the Contest begins.
  2. Only participants of the MotoSolutions Forum who registered at the Organizer’s booth or via the QR code link and completed the registration form, thereby accepting these Regulations, are eligible to participate.
  3. Employees of the Organizer and individuals involved in the preparation and execution of the Contest are excluded from participation.
  4. Participants must provide true and current contact details in the registration form. If false information is provided, participation in the Contest may be invalidated.
  5. Each participant may only take part in the Contest once.
  6. If multiple registrations by the same person are detected, all entries will be disqualified.
  7. The Organizer reserves the right to verify participants’ compliance with eligibility criteria at any time during the Contest. If discrepancies are found, the participant may be excluded without the possibility of appeal.
  8. Participation in the Contest is conditional upon full acceptance of these Regulations. Refusal to accept any part of the Regulations disqualifies an individual from participation.

§6 Complaints and Complaint Procedures

  1. Participants of the “Euro24 Driving Master” Contest have the right to file complaints regarding the Contest’s conduct, including the rules, scoring system, and prize allocation.
  2. Complaints must be submitted in writing via email to the Organizer at marketing@euro24.co within 7 business days of the Contest’s conclusion. The complaint must include the participant’s full name, nickname used in the Contest, a detailed description, and justification of the objections.
  3. All complaints will be reviewed by the Organizer within 14 business days of receipt. Participants will be informed of the decision via email to the address provided in the complaint.
  4. If irregularities in the Contest are confirmed that could have influenced the outcome, the Organizer reserves the right to annul the results in whole or in part and re-run the Contest or the disputed segment.
  5. The Organizer’s decisions regarding complaints are final and not subject to appeal.
  6. The Organizer will not consider complaints related to dissatisfaction with the awarded prize or its value, provided that the prizes were described in the Contest Regulations.
  7. For any doubts regarding the complaint procedure, participants may contact the Organizer for additional information and clarification using the contact details provided in §1 of these Regulations.

§7 Final Provisions and Personal Data Protection

  1. The regulations of the “Euro24 Driving Master” Contest will be available throughout the Contest at the Organizer’s booth during the Warsaw Pack trade fair and electronically via the QR code link.
  2. The Organizer reserves the right to amend these Regulations for valid reasons, with a commitment to promptly inform participants by updating the text of the Regulations available at the booth and online.
  3. All disputes arising from the implementation of the Contest will be resolved by the competent court in accordance with applicable Polish law.
  4. The administrator of the participants’ personal data is the Organizer. Personal data is collected solely for purposes related to the execution of the Contest, including the identification of participants and prize distribution.
  5. Contest participants have the right to access their personal data, rectify it, delete it, or limit its processing, as well as the right to object to the processing and the right to data portability, in accordance with applicable personal data protection laws.
  6. Participants’ personal data will be processed for the duration necessary to achieve the purposes related to the organization of the Contest, but no longer than six months from the date of the Contest results announcement, unless legal regulations require longer retention.
  7. Participants may withdraw their consent for the processing of their personal data at any time, which will be equivalent to withdrawing from further participation in the Contest.
  8. The Organizer commits to maintaining a high level of security for personal data and to protecting it from unauthorized access.
  9. In case of any questions or doubts concerning the processing of personal data, participants may contact the Organizer using the contact details provided in §1 of these Regulations.
